Made in England Harrington Jackets.
A statement piece that has stood the test of time. Worn by the American GI's, the king of cool up on the silver screen to the king of rock n roll himself.
But mostly adopted by Britain's subculture youth groups moonstomping to ska to bombing around on Italian two wheels, born again at the birth of punk and to be seen up and down the country on the football terraces. I read in a book once "where mods had sought to express themselves through their style and taste, mass skinhead clothing was purpose lead; would any item of clothing be hindrance in a street battle?"
Now we at Yaka don't condone violence but if you were to get involved, might aswell look the bollocks
Our "Fred" Harrington takes its name from the king of subculture, Fred Perry (which was the first sky blue Harrington I ever saw and fell in love with) and my old man Fred who at his grand age is still the best dressed Granada on the dancefloor.
